A Life Remembered
“A gentle soul, a patient teacher, and a friend to everyone who crossed his path.”
Robert Nash spent forty years as a high-school science teacher in Portland, where he was known less for his lessons than for his kindness. He built canoes on weekends, kept a garden that fed half the block, and never met a problem he couldn't talk through on the porch. He is survived by his wife, three children, and a great many former students who still call him "Mr. Nash."
